My father, Frank John Clark OAM, was in his younger years a Royal Marine. When I was born, he wrote to General Mark Clark and told him that I had been named after him. The general graciously wrote back on more than one occasion. Two of those letters are shown here. I thought it might be interesting to lovers of history.
